Cost to Families
All services were provided free of cost to families in this community for nearly thirty-one years--a tradition the Children's Developmental Center was proud of and hoped to maintain. State regulations now require us to bill insurance for services. In order to be in compliance with these regulations, the Center is now a preferred provider for most insurances. The process is expected to be complete for a few remaining insurance companies by January 2010.
Co-pays and deductibles are now charged for professional services to families with private insurance. Medicaid and other government health insurance coverage is also accepted.
