Early Support for Infants and Toddlers
Family Resources Coordinators
Family Resources Coordinators handle intakes with families, guide them through any difficult times while answering questions, connecting with families for ASQs and any ongoing assistance needed, and coordinate our Hospital-to-Home program.
Developmental specialists and educational assistants collaborate with parents and caregivers to establish early intervention goals. They also handle special instruction support for individual cognitive, social-emotional, and adaptive developmental needs.
Occupational and physical therapists teach through movement. Playing, moving, crawling, walking, engaging with others, and learning helps children to be successful in their activities of daily living. This includes fine and gross motor skills.
Speech-Language Pathologists and assistants stimulate receptive and/or expressive language, articulation, oral-motor function, swallowing, and auditory processing. They also assist Hard of Hearing and Deaf children in learning to develop language skills.
The Pediatric Pelvic Health program is for children and teens who struggle with incontinence-related diagnoses. Program participation is dependent on a doctor’s referral. Some of the dysfunctions that the Physical Therapist addresses are:
